Meet the 2024 QERM Cohort

This year we welcome five new students into the QERM program: Guy Bennevat Haninovich, Trinity Hinshaw, Veronica Lee, CL Roberts, and Jiangyue Wang. Here is some information about their academic backgrounds and the labs they will be working in:

Guy Bennevat Haninivich has a BA in Earth and Environmental Science from Wesleyan University, Connecticut.

Carissa Mayo completed a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Data Science from University of Colorado at Boulder last spring.

Connie Okasaki, QERM PhD student, is lead author of the paper “Collective navigation can facilitate passage through human-made barriers by homeward migrating Pacific salmon” recently published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B.
